In VT we had our own outside entrance to our own room as in case the room was some of our house. In NY and VA you’d your own bedroom in the same house with another guests.
Regardless of whichever style you choose, if you have not stayed at a bed & breakfast you should. 1 was wonderful and you really felt like your story were part of the owner’s family a person stayed there.
